An evening of concert dance with new work by Sara Shelton Mann and David Szlasa in collaboration with Maria F. Scaroni, Justin Morrison, Leslie Seiters and the newly named La ALTERNATIVA (formerly known as MOTIONLAB / Kathleen Hermesdorf and Albert Mathias.) in collaboration with Elaine Buckholtz.
A handful of people have asked for references to Summer workshops abroad. While there are Bates and ADF here in the states (along with a few other options at various companies and studios) Europe has a lot to offer in the area of Contemporary Dance. Many mistakenly believe the cost to visit Europe would be prohibitive but I’ve found that there are many resources one can leverage to make the journey affordable. Back in April, Leslie and I performed with Charles Curtis at the SDSU experimental theater. I’m only now getting around to putting up video from this event, a few minutes at a time. Stay tuned as there’s more to come.
