Update

It was wonderful dancing at this event last night. I performed a 20 minute improvisation with generous accompaniment provided by Nicholas Mishoe, who agreed to participate at the very last moment. Originally I had planned to dance without music but I arrived to discover that Nick, in addition to being a dancer, formerly with the Boston Ballet, is also a musician. We agreed that most of the piece should be done in silence with occasional (and preferably, at times, unrelated) punctuations of sound, melody and dissonance.
